How to read this file¶

Arc IDs (naming convention)¶

Rule	Detail
Format	`AROTD{n}-{Slug}` — book code where the arc starts, hyphen, short English slug in Title-Case-With-Hyphens (ASCII letters and hyphens only).
Examples	`AROTD1-Edward-Deposition` · `AROTD2-Danian-War` · `AROTD2-Danian-War-Hostages` (sub-thread) · `AROTD3-Wickham-Rebellion`
Cross-book	Keep the original arc ID when the thread continues into later books; update Last touch only.
Display	Optional friendly Arc title column may repeat the slug as words; Arc ID is the stable key.

Arc status¶

Status	Meaning
continuing	Advanced or still driving events through the scope ceiling.
dormant	No on-page progress for a substantial span; outcome not stated (may be intentional).
resolved	Move to Resolved arcs with resolution cite (book / ch / Story Day).

Plot-hole severity¶

Severity	Meaning
critical	Canon cannot be reconciled without a fix — contradictory facts, impossible timeline, established rule violated on-page, or dead/absent character acting without explanation.
major	Clear inconsistency readers would notice; author likely needs a line-level or bible clarification.
minor	Small discrepancy (timing slack, distance fudge, single-line mismatch) that may be intentional or low impact.

Other terms¶

Open question	Deliberate unknown (`OQ-###`); not a hole unless evidence shows contradiction.

Privy Council address: Lord Chancellor in council dialogue may address either the Chancellor for Foreign Relations or the Chancellor of the Exchequer (normal shorthand in a room with multiple Knights holding Chancellor titles). Full titles remain correct in tags and Story Bible government tables.
