Nature

Fulham-based guild of criminals used by Lord Mayor Edward (later King) in a regicide conspiracy (Days 1–12). Traded protection, assassination, and intimidation for wealth and eventual elimination once Edward's faction no longer needed them.

Karla infiltrated the guild (Days 2–12) on Edward's orders; the Company ultimately turned the operation against the Razor Claws and recovered Kranos's planar-travel device.

Headquarters (Fulham)

  • Public entrance: Alley behind Hantain's smithy on Broad Street (secret door; meet after cock crows).
  • Interior: Sewer access → puzzle room (levers move floor) → vault chamber with planar device hoard.
  • Secondary exit: Cave ~two miles north of northeast city wall; trap door (same key); tampering triggers acid spray and rockfall.

Hantain (blacksmith) — Razor Claw HQ access.

Prince Alfred conspiracy (Days 1–12)

Edward's plan (with Miri/Karla as supposed allies):

  1. Razor Claws eliminate Prince Alfred.
  2. Cassandra seduces Commander of the King's Guard; plants his dagger in Alfred's murder; Commander framed and hanged (Day 12).
  3. Eliminate Kranos; eventually King Ludwig.
  4. Edward becomes King; Razor Claws to be eliminated once useless.

Execution: Alfred murdered Day 8. Commander hanged in Haven pillory square. Kranos arrested Day 9; convicted and punished Day 12.

Pavel's deal: Reveal HQ mechanism; carry gold/gems; banished from Nystria for life on pain of death. Departed by ship under City Guard dock checks (exile presented as prisoner escort).

Banishment terms (Lord Mayor, Day 11–12): Permanent banishment or death; banishment across the Wide Sea, south of Pârsâ** for cooperating Razor Claws who accept commutation.

Aftermath: City Guard ordered to kill any Razor Claw on sight; bounties for killers. Public announcement: guild routed, leader banished (Day 12). Official records later sparse (Sir Malcolm inquiry, Day 31).

Reward: 1000 silver for device mission (messenger Day 14).
