Overview¶

The royal fief is the capital of Haven and the near surrounding lands — not a separate duchy. East of the Nys River (Westmarch duchy bound).

Royal Way — Main road Fulham ↔ Haven; crosses Hamilton County boundary.

Dal Valley (Book 01): Royal fief — no noble with dominion since the Peace of King Henry eliminated the duchies (Ch 26). King-appointed Sheriff; Southham Bailiff handles legal matters on the King's behalf. Book 02: Duchies restored; Dal Valley incorporated into Cumberland under Duke Matthias. → Cumberland.md

Haven¶

Capital city of Nystria. ~one day's ride from Newtown (~100 km) via Royal Way. Population ~55,000. Map: south of Telford; west of Fulham and Newtown.
